“ For those of you looking for a new and unique dining experience you should read this post. Five courses of traditional Filipino cuisine with unique twists served by a local food legend. So they are starting something new here, a prix fixe menu that is traditional Filipino food. The plating is done by Ayumi a local food expert that Pre-pandemic worked at some of the finest private dining rooms in the area. Along with the food, she hand crafts cocktails or selects a wine that pairs with each course. Each meal is catered to your food choices so give your food allergies and preferences when make your reservation. Here was our food, because that is what you want to hear about. FIRST COURSE - crisp vegetarian spring roll with three sauces - sweet chili, fish and spiced sugar cane sauce. 1st Drink - Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio. SECOND COURSE - Grilled tofu with peppers, onions and a delightful sauce that elevated the dish. (I prefer vegetarian food) 2nd Drink - Brazilian rum with muddled lime and sugar, served in a Moscow Mule insulated cup. THIRD COURSE - New Zealand Muscles and shrimp in a curry reduction that was AMAZING. I don't think my picture did it justice. 3rd Drink - Mango Passionfruit Martini with a slice of Passionfruit that made it almost too beautiful to drink. FOURTH COURSE - This BLEW ME AWAY a course of fried Red Snapper, shrimp, Java rice, snow crab, oyster mushrooms and Bok Choy served with a Homemade Ponzu Sauce and butter sauce. It was so much food, but so perfectly prepared. My favorites were the crab, the oyster mushrooms and the Bok Choy. This was just perfectly executed. Dessert Drink - Halo Halo Pina Colado - so delicious and served flaming. A slush to eat and drink to sip. DESSERT COURSE - Jackfruit in a plantain wrapper, Carmel sauce and Ube coconut ice cream. This was simply FANTASTIC, the crispness of the wrapper paired with soft jackfruit and paired with the coconut flavor of the ice cream. To set it up, you will need to call (904) 992-1112 and reserve your spot. The cost is $100 per person and while you can make the reservation, Ayumi will call you personally to cater the menu to you tastes. This can be done for two, but I would suggest that you have a group of four to really discuss the experience. One of the highlights was the table decoration of traditional Filipino cloth. At each course I thought it could not get any better - AND IT DID. The spring roll was amazing start, the New Zealand Muscles were the biggest surprise and the dessert reminded me of a dish I had in Paris. Parking is easy, service was amazing as Ayumi makes you feel so special. The ambiance is not fine dining, but the food certainly was. ”
